We are looking for an Operational Manager I to join our team!

We are looking for someone who facilitates and coordinates daily operational activities as well as 30-60-90-day plan strategies for the different departments such as safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale/people. This position ensures targets are achieved for the departments for which you are accountable such as as Warehousing,
Production processing, Production Packaging and Fulfillment by breaking down section targets into area and unit targets and ensuring that employees grasp their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be accountable for costs control administration, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members. Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Owns,
guides and ensures policy compliance in the following areas:
- Warehousing
- Production Packing
- Fulfillment (DTC)
- Backup for production processing
- Warehouse general facility administration.
- Creates and implements day to day, medium, and long-term strategies that would deliver Operations KPI’s in the different departments ensuring direction of activities on the area to meet overall performance goals for (Day to day, mid and long term):
- Safety (TIR, Near Miss Program)
- Quality (RFT (holds), Consumer Complaints, Quality Conversations)
- Cost (efficiency, Labour, Raw/ Pack/ WIP/FG Inventory Accuracy)
- Delivery (efficiency, CTS, Attainment/CTS)
- Morale/ People (Kaizens, RCA participation & completion, Training completion as per skill matrix)
- Owns Daily Administration system, prepare KPIs and reports for use at the Daily Administration System meetings, and to communicate performance to the Site Direction team and Line teams.
- Manage the staffing process to ensure colleagues are trained and have the necessary skills to perform all required duties, safely and effectively.
- Manage all hourly recruitment, internal transfers and all the employee cycle. Provide proactive Safety direction for the areas ensuring floor walks are happening and accident and incident reports are completed.
- Initiate and drive root cause identification activities and implement corrective action and preventative action plans for area losses such as efficiency, compliance to schedule, labour etc.
- Promote and maintain good employee relations on the line, both personally and through the Line Direction team. Guide the Line Direction team, providing coaching and counselling in conjunction with regular reviews and training.
- Owner of Efficiency / UPDT/PDT/ Stops gap analysis driving actions to reduce losses.
- Maintain a critical work plan for the line, to systematically address problems and implement improvements to achieve productivity targets. Ensure labour standards are met and consistently applied.
- Act as a Vertical Start up facilitator for all innovation projects that involve any of the reporting areas ensuring stage gate process is followed.
- Owner of the Total productive maintenance and lean six sigma agenda for the facility for the different pillars.

Education and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Warehouse and Operations administration.
- Extensive Knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain systems and ERM software.
- Must have a full grasp of how to use Key Performance Indicators to detect issues early and improve efficiency in the long term.
- Detailed knowledge of Warehouse Occupational Health and Safety practices within the applicable region is required.
- Basic Knowledge of Cost Control and Purchasing is considered an asset.
