Cybersecurity Analyst
About the Role:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets. You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments, particularly focusing on application and cloud security. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Assessments: Conduct in-depth security assessments of applications and cloud environments, employing industry-standard methodologies like OWASP.
- Risk Management: Evaluate the security risks associated with third-party vendors and cloud providers.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Vendor Oversight: Monitor and assess the security posture of vendors, ensuring compliance with our organization's standards.
- Incident Response: Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and remediate security breaches.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging security threats and best practices, recommending improvements to our security measures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on application security and cloud environments.
- Proven expertise in security assessment methodologies, such as OWASP.
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts, including networking, Linux/UNIX, Windows, and cloud technologies.
- Windows or CITRIX. Ideally with knowledge of networking from a Public Cloud perspective with hands on experience of AWS, MS Azure or Google cloud
- Strong understanding of the Shared Assessment methodology
- Strong understanding of security tools and technologies (e.g.,
vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Demonstrated ability to perform Vendor Risk assessments through on-site visits and reviewing SSAE18s
- Solid understanding of the banking industry’s regulatory requirements for managing third parties (e.g., FFIEC)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in Computer Science, Business Management, or MS required
- Certified training in transversal technical topics, security management, risk and compliance solutions and practices
- CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CTPRA, or related certification(s) preferred
- LANGUAGE: English, French
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing,
is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
