Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee all internal IT functions, Azure cloud architecture,
and the back-end setup requirements for lottery systems. The ideal candidate will also manage technical compliance with government certification bodies to ensure all technology licensing is up to date and will seek new licensing updates as required. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our IT environment, supporting business goals, and implementing secure, scalable solutions. As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for: B2B Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Define and drive the strategic vision for our B2B lottery platform, aligning product development with the company’s long-term goals and non-profit partner needs.
- Develop and manage a detailed, actionable product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, feature enhancements, and innovations to keep the platform competitive, market-leading and within regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and engineering to ensure product features align with customer requirements and business strategy.
- Leverage market research,
customer insights, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, shaping product direction and driving strategic growth initiatives.
- Prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and customer needs to ensure high-impact features are delivered efficiently.
- Lead the development of business cases for new product features or innovations, justifying investment based on ROI, customer demand, and market trends.
- Continuously monitor product performance and adjust the roadmap as needed to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
Agile Product Development:
- Serve as Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with development, design, UX/UI, QA, and the Software Development Manager.
- Create and manage epics and user stories that clearly articulate product requirements and user needs.
- Refine and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder feedback, user insights, and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions to define sprint goals and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies to maintain communication and alignment across teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine the product backlog, ensuring development meets customer needs and business objectives.
- Monitor team efficiency and address bottlenecks to improve productivity and quality.
Go-To-Market Activities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product and program launches, ensuring effective positioning, pricing, and messaging.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create sales enablement materials that support the promotion of products, programs and services.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to align teams on launch timelines, deliverables, and roles.
B2C Lottery Success:
- Provide insights on market competition, pricing, and growth strategies to the Lottery and Marketing teams, work collaboratively to enhance lottery outcomes.
- Support pricing and packaging analysis to maximize Ticket Transaction Value
- Work closely with the Lottery and Marketing teams to define and improve the digital user journey, both pre-launch and during live programs, using data analytics to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Support all go-to-market activities to ensure readiness for successful lottery program launches.
- Analyze and support post-program data for business reviews, in order to drive continuous improvement in support of non-profits and maximizing their fundraising efforts.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all products comply with applicable regulations and industry standards, ensure all product licenses are attained and up to date.
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
- Experience in a regulatory or highly secure industry (e.g., lottery, financial services, etc.).
- Knowledge of database management systems and API integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and automation tools.
We're looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Product Manager/Owner experience for SaaS product solutions
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software design and development practices, related applications and analytics technologies, with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand and prioritize technical challenges.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with a passion for leveraging data to drive product decision-making
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive positioning, and the importance of delivering differentiated products.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology / SaaS startup environment with a proven ability to manage multiple products and initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, and experience directly communicating with customers
- Experience with internal process optimization, automation, and technical efficiency improvements.
