Pay rate: $17.20-$20/HRS

Job Summary:
Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guards for our security operations in ottawa, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintaina high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment
- Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
- Facility patrol and enforcement of site regulations.
- Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
- Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
- Complete daily reports and incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service
- Good adaptability
Requirement:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in English is required
- G Driver's license.
- Valid first aid certification
- 1 year or more of security related experience
- First aid and CPR certification required
- Excellent customer service and resourcefulness
- Good communication skills (written/oral)
