Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, this position loads pallets into trailers for next day deliveries, handles returning products manually and with motorized pallet jack.
What are we looking for?
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Correctable vision
- Must be physically capable of performing all Material Handler duties on a regular basis
- Proven track record of safety and reliability
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions
- Demonstrates our Values; Team-oriented and shows initiative and is extremely customer focused
What will your job be?
- Operate forklift and end rider pallet jack and any other equipment as assigned
- While adhering to safety standards, load and unload trucks using a motorized pallet jack or forklift
- Efficiently build skids of products to meet required targets for delivery
- Remove damaged product and stretch wrap from skids
- Sweep trailers prior to loading product
- Advise leadership of any operational inconsistencies or problems
- Perform well with tight deadlines
- Assists with other daily warehouse and office tasks as requested
