About our Client
We have an exciting, new opportunity available immediately for a Program Assistant on a temporary basis located in Burnaby.
The Program Assistant will be responsible for various administrative duties while providing support during meetings and in the office. This position offers a starting pay rate of $31.97 per hour. Working hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your intermediate administrative experience to the Metro Vancouver Regional District. Responsibilities
- Providing meeting support - booking meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and taking minutes
- Formatting various documents using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Tracking invoices using company tracking systems
- Troubleshooting issues that arise
- Acting as a supervisor in some circumstances
Qualifications
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A self-starter and multitasker who takes initiative
- Can perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgement and decision making
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Calendar management and minute taking experience
- First Aid Level 2 is an asset but not required
- Vehicle is required for this location
