Executive Director, International Tax Operations
Location: Canada
Position Summary
The role reports directly to the Vice-President of Tax and is primarily responsible for the management of the non-U.S. income tax compliance process across our 35+ countries.
This position will also support the quarterly and annual tax provision, as well as the cash tax forecast.
The role will partner closely with other teams including accounting, treasury, IT and finance.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, flexible and can handle multiple projects while producing accurate and timely results.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Non-US income tax compliance
Income tax accounting for the foreign subsidiaries
Global cash tax forecast process
International income tax audit matters
Management of a mix of internal professionals and external service providers
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
15+ years of corporate tax and/or public accounting experience
Strong overall computer and data management skills
Solid knowledge of ASC 740 rules and requirements
Technical international tax skills
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
Must be able to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment
Demonstrated success developing and leading a team
Preferred Requirements
Licensed CPA
