We're seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our investment banking operations. As a key point of contact for our AMER business lines, you'll be responsible for overseeing strategic projects, ensuring smooth project execution, and fostering seamless collaboration across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Analyze complex business requirements, processes, and functions within the securities and cash products domain.
- Solution Development: Evaluate and recommend technical and non-technical solutions, considering factors like cost, timeframes, and strategic alignment.
- Project Management: Coordinate solution workshops, oversee testing phases,
and ensure timely project delivery.
- Requirement Bridging: Effectively communicate business requirements to development teams and ensure accurate technical specifications.
- User Collaboration: Work closely with users to develop comprehensive test plans, establish sign-off criteria, and analyze testing results.
- Architectural Design: Contribute to the design of new architectures that align with our overall IT strategy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in investment banking, with a strong focus on securities and cash products.
- Deep understanding of trading and brokerage operations, from front to back.
- Proven ability to collaborate with operations, front office, risk, finance, and external partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing client expectations.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and partners in the United States. Proficiency in French is a valuable asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Broadridge applications (BPS/IMPACT/FinancePraDLR).
- Experience working in a global environment with teams in different time zones.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
