Job Summary
Our Front Desk Agents are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and create a lasting positive impression on each guest.





The Front Desk Agent role is extremely important because you are the first impression to each of our guests. This role will report directly to the Front Office Management Team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Maintains a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor during all guest & colleague interactions, and responds appropriately to guest complaints.
- Ensures the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance set the perfect ‘arrival experience’ for guests by maintaining cleanliness & orderliness.
- Answers phones, emails and welcomes guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Keeps track of arrivals, departures, and in-house daily activities and organizes VIP amenities where appropriate.
- Processes check-ins, and check-outs, registers transactions, and provides information on hotel services and room location.
- Efficiently book guest reservations requested by phone, in person, or online.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and communicate with other departments in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance of all hotel policies,





standards and core practices.
- Be completely competent in all PMS functions used by the Front Office.
- Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities
- Night Audit training & relief.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Management/Supervisory Team.

Job Requirements (The following are considered mandatory for this position)

- Ability to work a flexible working schedule is required.
- Minimum 1-year previous hotel Front Desk experience an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fully proficient with written & spoken English.
- Excellent computer literacy and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Time management and problem-solving abilities are an asset.






- Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required.
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
