Banyan Software is a rapidly growing global software acquirer with 56+ operating companies, and we are seeking an experienced Payroll Integrations Manager to join our team in Toronto. This role will be pivotal in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and will lead the post-acquisition payroll integration into Banyan’s payroll systems. The Payroll Integrations Manager will oversee and ensure the smooth integration of payroll processes following acquisitions of new software companies. This role will act as a liaison between the payroll team, legal department, M&A; team, and benefits team to guarantee compliance and streamline onboarding for new hires. This role would help establish a consistent approach from both payroll and benefits perspectives, ensuring that all documentation and requirements from payroll providers are supported.

The position will work closely with Human Resources, reporting to the Director – Payroll & Total Rewards, to ensure seamless payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:







- Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, analyzing payroll systems and processes of target companies to identify gaps, risks, and integration opportunities.
- Lead the post-acquisition payroll integration for acquired companies, ensuring smooth migration to Banyan’s payroll platforms. This includes overseeing system configuration, data migration, and process alignment for 56+ operating companies.
- Implement payroll systems and processes, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations across various regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
- Work closely with Human Resources teams to ensure alignment on payroll operations, employee data, and benefits integration.





Provide regular updates to the Director – Payroll & Total Rewards on integration progress and resolve any issues.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize payroll processes across the organization, ensuring efficient workflows and the successful integration of new companies into Banyan’s payroll structure.
- Ensure all payroll integrations comply with local labor laws and regulatory requirements. Mitigate risks during payroll transitions, addressing any compliance concerns or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and HR, to ensure timely payroll integrations and smooth system implementations for all newly acquired companies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of payroll processes, integration strategies, and system configurations.





Generate reports for leadership to track the progress of payroll integrations and highlight any areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll systems management, with a strong focus on payroll integration and post-acquisition implementation for a large, multinational organization. Experience with global payroll systems and managing integrations for multiple operating companies is required.
- Extensive experience with payroll software and systems such as ADP, Dayforce, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of data migration and integration processes between different payroll systems.
- Proven track record of working on payroll integrations during mergers and acquisitions, including experience with due diligence assessments and post-acquisition payroll implementations.






- Strong experience working alongside Human Resources teams, ensuring payroll processes align with HR policies, employee data management, and benefits integration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential payroll integration issues and provide solutions. Analytical mindset to assess payroll processes and recommend optimizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a global,





multi-company environment with a focus on international payroll compliance and regulations.
- Strong understanding of total rewards and employee benefits structures as they relate to payroll integration.
