Location(s) of work: 5700 Explorer Drive, Suite 400, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 0C6 Canada. May be required to travel to worksite locations across Ontario.
Number of Positions: One (1)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategically direct the operations of Bird's Industrial East division, with a focus on achieving growth targets and driving operational excellence.
2. Oversee the integration of services acquired through the Insulation division acquisition, ensuring seamless alignment with Bird's strategic objectives.
3.





Develop and implement strategies to enhance and expand Bird's operations within the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on insulation, scaffolding, coatings, and fireproofing sectors.
4. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify market opportunities, develop business strategies, and drive revenue growth.
5. Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, with a particular focus on highly regulated environments such as the Nuclear industry.
7. Direct complex project portfolios, overseeing project execution, risk management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
8.





Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to support Bird's growth objectives and enhance our competitive position in the market.

Required Skills:

1. 10+ years of senior managerial expertise as well as proven experience in multimillion (over $100 Million), large and complex construction projects in urbanized environments.
2. Ability to develop corporate strategies and long-term plans.
3. Deep understanding of industry regulations and standards, particularly in highly regulated environments such as the Nuclear industry.
4. Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Required Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
