Job Overview:
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a medical or dental office setting, possess strong administrative skills, and be proficient in handling front desk operations.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently
- Verify insurance information and process patient billing
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of phone systems and office procedures
