The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission of empowering young individuals with community, knowledge, and tools to champion mental well-being. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and implementing long-term strategic and annual plans, with a focus on enhancing current activities and advocating for the youth voice. This role involves overseeing all organizational activities, including program design and delivery, revenue generation, public advocacy, and finance and risk management.
The ideal candidate will be a highly regarded leader with experience in a similar organizational setting, particularly in the non-profit or charitable sector,
and will have a deep understanding of financial management, donor relations, and the youth mental health landscape.
As the President and CEO, the role requires a leader who can empower a mission-driven team, build a culture of innovation and trust, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Proficiency in English is essential, and bilingualism in French is highly desirable. The candidate should have a proven track record in change management, organizational strategy, and governance, and be adept at conflict resolution. They must also be committed to championing and embedding equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and reconciliation into all aspects of the organization. The position demands a leader who can navigate complex challenges, support a multi-generational and diverse community, and foster a culture of collaboration both within the organization and with external partners.
