Do you want to be part of a practice whose mission is to embrace differences and empower growth? If you’re passionate about providing meaningful care and can work two days/evenings and one weekend day,
we’d love to hear from you!
About Us: Dynamic Minds Therapy is a private practice in Barrie, Ontario, specializing in neurodiversity-affirming care for children, youth, and their families. Our focus areas include emotional regulation, social confidence, life skills, anxiety management, depression, trauma processing, attention and focus, and transition to adulthood. We actively involve parents in their child’s therapeutic journey to ensure holistic and lasting change.
Your Role: We are excited to welcome 1-2 Registered Social Workers/Psychotherapists to our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic support to children (ages 3-12) and/or youth (ages 13-25), helping them navigate their unique challenges in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will play a vital part in guiding them through emotional growth, social development, mental wellness, and skill-building while working closely with their families to foster lasting change.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passionate about working with neurodivergent children and youth.
- Warm, empathetic, and experienced in engaging with young clients.
- Familiarity with special education within the school systems.
- Proficient in evidence-based practices, with confidence in one or more of the following: ACT, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Certifications are a plus, but a willingness to continuously learn and grow is essential.
- Masters Degree in Social Work or in a related field and registration with the OCSWSSW or CRPO.
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality, record keeping, and ethical standards.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a practice that truly values diversity and inclusion.
- Work in a collaborative environment where growth and professional development are encouraged and still maintain independence.
- Help empower neurodivergent children, youth, and their families through meaningful therapeutic support.
- Electronic record keeping, scheduling, and billing all in one place.
- Professional development opportunities.
- Marketing and clients provided for you.
