Venor is proud to partner with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in their search for a Specialist, Regional Gaming Operations to join their team. Headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, this opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in the management and execution of gaming operations across Atlantic Canada. What you’ll be doing:

The Specialist, Regional Gaming Operations will be responsible for supporting the operations of gaming activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and health & safety policies. Reporting to the Manager of Regional Gaming,





you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in Bingo game operations, working to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:

1. Participate in the ongoing development of the Atlantic Gaming strategy and annual business plans.
2. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure cross-functional support in meeting business objectives.
3. Execute operational plans, including overseeing day-to-day gaming activities like 50/50 draws and Bingo shows.
4. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support daily operations.
5. Advise on operational risk evaluations and make recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
6. Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize operations.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming regulations and ensure business operations align with them.
8. Manage relationships with retail vendors and ensure compliance with terms of contracts and statements of work.
9. Monitor budgets, track invoices,





and evaluate operational performance against targets.

What we’re looking for:

1. Minimum 6 years of experience in program execution or operations management, ideally within gaming or fundraising.
2. Post-secondary education in a related field.
3. Experience developing and managing vendor relationships.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes and gain support.
5. Proactive and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
6. Analytical skills with the ability to manage financial data and interpret reports.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and database applications.

Working conditions:

1. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel across the Atlantic region.
2.





Remote-friendly role with the exception for working on-site Monday evenings for the weekly live game.
