As they move forward with a significant refurbishment project that will extend operations to 2055, they are seeking dedicated professionals to join their team.

The Opportunity: Our client is seeking a Project Controls Manager to support the refurbishment project at a nuclear generating station. This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution of major infrastructure projects. The Project Controls Manager will establish guidelines and responsibilities, implementing necessary tools and systems to effectively manage and report on various project metrics,





including earned value management, cash flow, cost, revenue, forecasting, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guide project controls and operations teams to recognize emerging issues and leverage lessons learned.
- Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, and Finance personnel to enhance project financial forecasting.
- Contribute to project setup by providing input on commercial, administrative, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee scheduling functions to ensure projects meet quality standards and completion dates.
- Analyze project performance, providing insights on key metrics and trends.
- Support project change management and develop mitigation measures for identified risks.
- Cultivate a diverse and inclusive culture while mentoring direct reports.






- Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring:

- An undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.
- Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in nuclear or related fields.
- Proven ability in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with SAP and project controls software (e.g., Primavera, Hard Dollar, Accubid).
