The Client Relationship Management (CRM) team serves as the ambassador and primary relationship lead for IMCO’s institutional clients and prospect relationships. Given the critical importance of client partners to IMCO, the CRM team leads core organizational initiatives and activities to enhance the client experience and serves as the client voice and advocate within IMCO. The CRM team also builds and cultivates relationships with prospective institutional clients in Ontario’s public sector and oversees the onboarding and integration of new client relationships into IMCO.

Reporting to the Director, Client Growth, the Senior Manager will focus on client retention and satisfaction, client onboarding and engagement, revenue growth, strategic planning and execution, and client feedback and improvement.

As the Senior Manager,





you will help to develop and execute strategic plans to expand IMCO’s client base and deepen existing relationships which will include setting measurable goals and tracking progress against them. You will oversee the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a smooth transition and early engagement.

The Senior Manager will be focused on managing and nurturing IMCO’s institutional client relationships, ensuring prospective client engagement, and driving business growth. Through the collection and analysis of client feedback, help identify areas for improvement and implement changes based on client feedback, to enhance the overall client experience. Help prepare and present reports on client growth and initiatives and overall performance to stakeholders.







As a Member of Our Team, You Will be Responsible For:

- Support the Director by implementing the client growth strategy on the ground, ensuring that strategic plans are translated into actionable steps, and align with IMCO’s overall business objectives.
- Lead complex initiatives such as developing and executing targeted client acquisition campaigns and managing large-scale onboarding projects that require coordination across multiple departments.
- Produce best-in-class materials for meetings with prospective clients, while also attending those meetings and providing presentation support to the Director and eventually, leading these meetings.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with clients who choose to partner with IMCO,





acting as a primary point of contact during the onboarding process.
- Work closely with senior-level stakeholders, including institutional clients, portfolio managers, and internal teams, to influence and drive client growth initiatives. The role requires effective communication and negotiation skills to manage expectations and deliver results.
- Develop and maintain a smooth and positive onboarding process for new clients, coordinating with internal teams to meet client needs and expectations.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Director on client acquisition efforts and onboarding progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.






- Collaborate with Front Office and other IMCO teams to coordinate and produce value added content for RFP responses.
- Actively manage IMCO’s contact with prospective clients, ensuring a flow of updates about IMCO is maintained, to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Supervise junior team members who collect and gather and analyze client feedback and other client-related information on prospective clients, to identify areas for improvement. Lead the implementation of internal reporting on client growth and onboarding activities.
- Collaboratively work within the Client Relationship Management team to establish long-standing trusted advisor partnerships with institutional clients through IMCO’s CRM framework.

What do you need to succeed?

- 8 to 10 years within Investments, Financial Services,





Asset Management or other relevant field required. Experience working in institutional relationship management would be considered an asset.
- Investments industry related designations such as CFA, FRM, CIPM, CAIA etc. are considered an asset.
- Technical skills must include a strong background and advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with other applications such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, MS Access, and project management tools would also be considered an asset.
- Proven experience presenting to senior contacts at clients or prospective clients.
- Proven ability to translate presentation ideas into compelling PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience of working on response to RFPs would be a significant asset.






- Institutional client relationship management experience would be an asset.
- Strong interest in the financial markets and investments; knowledge of investment performance and risk concepts.
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional work ethic and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Strong relationship building, communication, and writing skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to change directions quickly.
