The Opportunity:

The Inventory Supervisor has the direct accountability for ensuring the inventory levels and accuracy, stocking strategies, overseeing inventory of ingredients, packaging, and commodities, managing risk of obsolescence versus supply shortage, materials, and warehousing system at Walker Drive.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

- Manage warehouse inventory and optimize processes along the supply chain.
- Reconcile warehouse inventory on a regular basis and perform physical inventory in the warehouse as needed.






- Manage the planning of the volumes and coordinate the warehouse needs with the production Coordinator.
- Proactively resolve warehouse inventory discrepancies.
- Use product and supply chain knowledge to accurately determine warehouse inventory level in the SAP system.
- Communicate status of spices at risk for disposition to the QA team.
- Manage out-of-code inventory proactively and correctly.
- Key processing user of the ERP-system SAP Cycle count inventory.
- Maintain accurate information of SOP in the warehouse.
- Assist the team and management with projects and tasks as needed.
- Look for and recommend process improvements related to inventory.
- Support and reconcile stock transfer movements from plants to 3PL in SAP.
- Work towards individual and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Follow up and resolve issues as they relate to inventory.
- Follow the standard operating procedures for the department and ensure internal controls are effective and in place.






- Continuously improve inventory stock level processes in supporting Six Sigma methodologies by identifying opportunities and breakthrough thinking.
- Liaise and build a solid trust-based relationship with cross-functional team members including production, customer service, logistics, sales, and marketing.
- Develop and implement warehouse processes that drive accurate inventory, minimize old age, minimize product shortage, and reduce inventory loss/discrepancies in an SAP-Walker drive managed warehouse environment.
- Continuously improve and maximize warehouse processes to facilitate the efficient identification and location of products daily, thereby increasing picking efficiencies.
- Achieve annual target Conformance and OEE by ensuring materials are delivered to the production line in a timely manner.






- Support Warehouse staff with up-to-date metrics and performance measures.
- Ensure accurate Inventory Control.
- Deliver budgeted costs for plant supplies.
- Support the distribution (shipping/receiving) team when needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

- Three to five years’ experience in a distribution environment.
- University degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Third-Party Storage requirements.
- Strong data entry and computer skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent comprehension and analytical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of floor operations across all shifts.
- Highly proficient in SAP Systems.






- Problem-solving skills enabling consideration of multiple variables and solutions in a time-sensitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrates entrepreneurial leadership, able to manage critical customer interface by demonstrating adaptability to respond to customer needs with a clear understanding of the impact on profitability.
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow for conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical skills required to gain insights on key shipping metrics.
- Proven initiative and leadership skills.
- Will be required to cover alternate shifts as needed.
