Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver with a clean driving record and a valid AZ license to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks for transporting construction materials such as gravel, sand, and soil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate dump trucks to and from job sites.
- Transport and deliver materials to various construction sites.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring road safety.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and trip reports.
- Collaborate with the construction crew and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks (preferred).
- Familiarity with Ontario traffic regulations and load safety protocols.
- Ability to perform routine truck maintenance checks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Assets:
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle inspections.
- Experience with ELD systems.
- CVOR knowledge is an asset.
