Job Description: Senior Project Manager

Our client is one of Canada's largest retailers. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for their Special Projects team.

Location: 3 days/week in North York
Duration: Until Dec

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate communication with delivery leads and project managers to gather information to create a centralized database for project teams.
2. Consolidate information and create a centralized database containing team composition, consultant rates, hours worked, forecasts, etc.
3. Prepare monthly financial reports, financial tracking, produce metrics (burn rate charts), and actuals vs. approved forecasts.
4.





Prepare business cases in the long run; putting together requests for additional funding and explaining why it's required.

Must Have Skills:

1. Project Manager with strong Financial Management: forecasting, budgets, actuals vs. forecasts, burn rate charts, etc.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Clarity PPM.
