Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience managing vendor relationships and processing purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Requirements:

1. Maintain vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies.
2. Process requests and expense reports on a regular basis.
3. Perform data entry associated with accounts payable.
4. Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
5.





Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
6. Maintain precise records of all incoming payments.
7. Prepare and send invoices to clients.
8. Assist the Controller with oversight of daily operation of the finance department.
9. Serve as a backup for Accounts Receivable.
10. Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting.
11. Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed.
12. Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments.
13. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
14. Support the development and maintenance of improved policy and procedure manual.
15. Assist with carrying out ad-hoc financial projects and reports.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years’ experience with accounts payable and receivable functions.
2. Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles.
3. Tech Savvy; skilled in MS Office, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
4. Knowledge of ERP System (E.g., MIE Track Manufacturing ERP System).
5.

6. High degree of attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
8. Strong analytical skills.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals.
11. Bachelor Degree (required).
12. Accounting: 3 years (required).
13. ERP systems: 3 years (required).
14. Accounts payable: 3 years (required).
15. Accounts receivable: 3 years (required).

Salary Range: $55k-63k
