Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves modifying Electrical Enclosures, Building Backplates,
Field wiring and testing various components to ensure they meet Functional and quality standards. The Electrical Panel Builder will work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Being a senior roll, the selected Candidate will mentor Apprentices and other Electrical Team members and alocate there time and work efforts
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from schematics to assemble Electrical Panels accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to install and mount parts as needed.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Conduct tests on completed assemblies to verify performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assembly or functionality of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- Personable with a friendly, positive attitude and works great with other team members
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with hand tools and machining processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble complex systems.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring and logic controllers is preferred.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers for accurate measurements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Clean Driving record with reliable Transportation
