Essential Responsibilities
Develop 3D civil models (Road, Bridge, Earthworks, Utilities, etc.) from 2D drawings and technical specifications
Produce drawings based on BIM model
Process Drone’s Photogrammetry and Lidar datasets
Perform quantity take-offs to support estimating
Support model-related project coordination
Address and resolve model and design issues with the project team
Gather information from project stakeholders for incorporation into the BIM model
Conduct clash detections and assist in developing solutions with the project team
Coordinate 3D laser scans/point cloud models
Implement model-related document management systems on projects, including document control activities as needed
Qualifications
3-8 years of experience working with BIM-related software, with proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
Experience with Trimble Business Center, Revit parametric modeling, and Navisworks is beneficial
Educational background in civil or structural engineering and geomatics, with BIM technology/animation as a plus
Experience with civil construction design preferred
Knowledge of Dynamo, Python, Revizto, and BIM implementation is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
Excellent communication, planning,
and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a team environment, self-motivated, and eager to learn and take on new challenges
