Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Campus Store Operations, the sales associate student position is responsible for the efficient, responsiveness, and safety of the Retail Area.
The incumbent also supports and performs duties with curbside, Click and Collect area, placing incoming merchandise on shelves for resale as well as the assembly of course-related kits during the summer.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a point of sale (POS) terminal;
- Prepares products for resale;
- Assists co-workers with the assembly of various course-related kits for the start of term;
- Assists co-workers with placing incoming merchandise on shelves;
- Pricing, barcoding, and securing merchandise according to Campus Store Policy.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum 6 months previous Shipping & Receiving or Retail Experience;
- The incumbent must be registered as an International Student with Algonquin College.
