Position: HR Coordinator
Location: Downtown Toronto (On-Site)
Job Type: Temporary – 4-month contract to start
Our client, a professional services firm in downtown Toronto, is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This position will support the HR team with administrative and coordination duties, ensuring the smooth execution of HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, preparing documentation and updating systems.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS system.
- Assist with employee inquiries regarding policies,
benefits, and procedures.
- Coordinate training sessions and other employee engagement activities.
- Prepare HR-related reports and support HR projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in a professional/corporate setting.
- A post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Familiarity with HR practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with an HRIS system is nice to have.
