Job Summary:
As an Outbound Logistics & EDI Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of our wholesale orders, ensuring they are processed accurately and delivered on time. This includes working with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), resolving issues, and coordinating across various departments such as Sales, Warehousing and Finance. Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and prior experience with EDI are essential.
Tasks:
- Manage the daily oversight of the brands wholesale order flow via EDI.
- Process EDI orders within our system promptly to avoid delays.
- Review POs for accuracy, ensuring quantities, prices, UPCs, delivery dates, and label codes are correct. Confirm details like dimension/pack quantities.
- Work with a range of EDI transaction sets, as well as vendor portals.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Sales Representatives to address any discrepancies in EDI transmissions, including pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and product codes.
- Maintain all customer shipping addresses, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Run reports to track outstanding orders, manage on-hand inventory, and review allocation and sales data to ensure proper order fulfillment.
- Submit routing information, book appointments with carriers, and confirm delivery schedules for order pickups.
- Generate and transmit invoices as well as Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) to ensure seamless invoicing and order tracking.
- Review and investigate chargebacks,
working with the warehouse and internal systems to provide necessary documentation to the accounting team.
- Prepare orders, labels, PLs and BOLs for the warehouse to ensure accurate shipment documentation.
- Keep supply chain team informed of any delays, shortages, or overages to avoid disruptions.
Skills:
- 3+ Years Experience in a Similar/Relevant Role
- High Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Knowledge of EDI (SPS Commerce Specifically).
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems such as Extensiv.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure/deadlines.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to ever changing requirements.
- A problem solver and great communicator.
