A-Class Autobody, family owned and operated since 1984, is seeking an experienced Red Seal Automotive Painter to join our team full time. We are a busy ICBC accredited shop with all necessary equipment, and ample dedicated space to work. This position can be flat rate or straight time depending on candidate's preference.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Red Seal certified Painter to join our team,
as lead painter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing techniques, with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of craftsmanship. Our shop has a full-time paint prep technician however, looking for someone to do prep work when needed. We average 3 vehicles per day.
Duties
- Reading estimates, color matching and using the PPG system
- Prep vehicle for paint including sanding, masking, and taping to prevent overspray.
- Apply primer, prepare paint and apply to vehicle ensuring proper blending and color match.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating tools
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Experience:
- auto body paint: 1 year (preferred)
