Staffinity is currently seeking a Securities Law Clerk for a Canadian client. This is a full-time, permanent position with base salary, benefits, vacation, bonus and RRSP matching. The base salary range is 65-75k The position will work on a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Responsibilities:

- Drafting materials for prospectus offerings and brokered and non-brokered private placement financings
- Conducting searches of public company information on SEDAR+ and EDGAR.
- Drafting continuous disclosure documents.
- Preparing and attending to stock exchange, SEDAR+, SEDI and NRD dealer, advisor and investment fund manager and exempted registrant filings.
- Providing assistance in support of all aspects of clients’ securities registrations and NRD filings,





including preparing/reviewing and filing new individual and firm applications (and monitoring/managing the regulatory review of same), notices of change and terminations of individual registrations, outside activities and managing annual filings.
- Preparing and annually maintaining all securities commission filings.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years’ experience as a Securities law clerk/paralegal
- 5+ year’s experience doing SEDAR+ and SEDI filings.
- Completion of accredited Law Clerk program.
- Working knowledge of Canadian securities laws (including instruments, rules, forms and related policies) and stock exchange rules and policies.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.






- Ability to respond to urgent client requests outside of normal business hours from time to time.
