Full job description
Peoples Jewellers is looking for a part-time jewellery consultant to join our team in our Halifax, NS location.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has excellent customer service skills, and enjoys working with people.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and answer any questions they may have about the company and products
- Sell and advise on the selection of fine jewelry
- Provide customers with samples of products to try before they buy
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom
- Work with other staff members to ensure that customers are able to shop in a friendly, safe manner
- Assist in maintaining the sales floor and store cleanliness
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
- Keep the front door clean and stocked with products for customers to use when they come in
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience or other related field experience preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professionalism and tact required for interacting with customers and staff members alike
- Ability to multi-task while remaining organized and paying attention to detail
- Previous retail sales experience helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right training.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 16-32 per week
