Position Title: Territory Manager

About Us: Wolfe Heavy Equipment manufactures premium equipment for underground infrastructure installation. We engineer and manufacture equipment from Plows to Trenchers that install renewable-energy power transmission lines, water drainage lines, and equipment for the oil and gas sectors.

Role Purpose: Wolfe’s Territory Managers are responsible for achieving a high level of success in the sales of Wolfe Heavy Equipment products and services. The Territory Manager should have a strong background in sales with a broad knowledge of the heavy equipment industry. The Territory Manager will develop ongoing,





profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. This position requires frequent travel to customer sites both domestically and internationally.

Reports To: Business Development Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned territories/accounts through frequent communication and traveling to customer sites.
- Manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives for designated territories and regions.
- Support crafting & execute sales strategy to deliver on business goals & objectives.
- Generate and develop new customer accounts.
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Report on regional sales results,





support in establishing regional sales targets & communication to marketing & sales teams.
- Work with management through the sales process when dealing with whole goods.
- Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
- Build a deep understanding of the markets we serve & provide feedback/ solutions on how to best develop & penetrate those markets.
- Support new & existing dealers in generating leads & identifying opportunities in the market.
- Build a strong understanding of the product offerings and provide customers with information regarding Wolfe Heavy Equipment products.
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new Wolfe Heavy Equipment products and services, competitor activities,





and other research and make recommendations to management regarding improvements to our service model.
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
- Ensure the company maintains a high profile and professional image through active participation in industry association.
- Support on-site training of all machines sold onto the market with new and existing customers.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum of five years of sales experience in heavy equipment or construction sales.
- Post secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience working with dealers and dealer excellence programs.
- Ability to create a realistic schedule and meet deadlines.






- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Valid drivers’ license and passport (international travel is required).
- Must be willing to travel 75% of the time.
