Responsibilities
- Strategic Policy Development:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic policies and strategies aimed at adapting to market trends and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize areas for policy improvement and innovation.
- Business Analysis and Legal Collaboration:
- Lead thorough business analysis to assess requirements through jurisdictional analysis and market trends.
- Work closely with organization staff and Legal Counsel to develop new legislative and regulatory requirements to enable transformation.
- Business Process Re-engineering:
- Analyze current business processes to identify areas for enhancement.
- Design and implement re-engineered processes that align with new policies, promoting cost-effective and efficient service delivery.
- Internal Engagement and Communication:
- Engage with various internal and external stakeholders and partners to ensure policies are comprehensive, defensible, and aligned with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize initiatives and execute on the organizationâs policy initiatives.
- Support outreach activities and engagement activities aimed at strengthening advancing initiatives, relationships, promoting public safety and reducing damage to underground infrastructure.
- Performance Measurement and Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to assess the effectiveness of new policies and program initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective reporting mechanisms to track progress and provide insights to senior leadership, aiding strategic decision-making.
- Regularly review and report on performance, suggesting continuous improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new policies across the organization.
- Strategic Project Management:
- Manage and ensure accountability for the full life cycle delivery of operational projects.
- Utilize expertise in project management to tracking status of projects and identify/manage risks.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with One Call staff across various departments, including IT, finance, and senior management, to ensure cohesive operations and project success.
- Work and guide cross-functional teams in meeting project deliverables.

Able to provide an overarching view of project inter-dependencies and external dependencies, monitoring risk levels. Ability to analyze projects to identify potential risks and issues, prioritize these for senior executives, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.

Must Haves
- 5+ yearsâ experience as a Business Analyst or providing business analytic services.
- Experience in leading policy development and implementation initiatives.
- 5+ yearsâ experience working with stakeholders/stakeholdersâ engagement.
