This position is working within PETRONAS Canada LNG Ltd. (PCLL). PCLL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS that governs PETRONAS’ investment in the LNG Canada Project (where PETRONAS owns a 25% interest). The LNG Canada project involves building a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility (approx. 13 MTPA capacity) in Kitimat, BC.
Working with our LNG Development team in Calgary, this will be a full-time student position from May through August 2025. During your summer, you will gain exposure to the energy industry by attending sessions hosted by subject matter experts and will have an opportunity to showcase your learnings with your student network. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
- Provide support to Commercial Department with reporting initiatives, utilizing Power BI
- Provide support to Corporate Services in managing the internal and external stakeholders
- Work with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Participate in various projects as required
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree or diploma program at a post-secondary institution in Canada, and must be returning to undergraduate studies after the work term
- Enrolled in Bachelor of Science, majoring in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office suite, with superior Excel skills. Knowledge in Power BI is added advantage
- Strong time and data management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with your team, peers, and diverse business groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
