The Opportunity

We are currently hiring for two (2) Operations Technologists - Engineering Approvals. There is one (1) regular opportunity and one (1) term opportunity (for a period of approximately 6-12 months), in the Engineering & Capital Infrastructure Department, both have full time hours.

As an Operations Technologist, you will:

- Provide the delivery of inspecting the installation of Service Connections and appurtenances attaching to the Halifax Water Systems
- Involved in the collection, production, and retrieval of record information

To do this job, you need to have:

- Five (5) years of experience in the municipal engineering field.
- Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.






- Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation.
- Valid driver's license.
