This is a 6 month contract with potential to extend for a manufacturing company. The Supply Chain Director should possess strong leadership capabilities and the ability to be hands on at the same time. Some core responsibilioties include: Developing and executing the supply planning strategies aligned with the overall business objectives, including setting goals for efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.Managing internal & external warehouses with respect to space management, inventory levels, and team management.Oversee the flow of materials through supply chain network (between warehouses and production facilities) by arranging for transportation, warehousing,





and other services.Overseeing overall inventory levels to ensure optimal balance between supply and demand, DOS, & avoiding excess stock or shortages.Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in supply chain operations.Monitoring and controlling costs associated with procurement, production, transportation, and other supply chain activities.Managing distribution network which involves managing third party logistics along with building and nurturing relationships with brokers, customers, and other stakeholders.Managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products to ensure timely delivery to customers while minimizing costs and stock piling.Collaborating with various internal departments (such as manufacturing, finance, sales, and marketing) to ensure smooth coordination across the organization.Building and leading a skilled supply chain team, providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities. Master's degree in business administration, Logistics, or any other related fields,
