At Dave’s Diesel Repair, we specialize in Cat, Cummins, Detroit, Mercedes and pretty much any type of diesel engine,
and can accommodate any sized job — from single owner-operators to fleets of all sizes. We provide the opportunity to work with all these engines, to broaden your skillset.

About the Job
We are currently looking for an HD Mechanic - Diesel with Engine Experience to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to diagnose engine faults whether the “old school” method or with a computer diagnostic tool
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems,
using hand and power tools
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets/ exceeds manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment/shop equipment
- Perform repair work on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
Must Haves:
- Minimum two years’ experience with Commercial Transport /Heavy duty truck required
- Knowledge of Cat, Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, and/or Mercedes
- Knowledge of all listed engine types is preferred however we will accept applications with knowledge of a few listed types
- Second year journeyman: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (Off Road)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Own set of well equipped tools
- High attention to details and precision quality workmanship
- Desire to build up knowledge, and the willingness to be trained
Nice to Have/Preference:
- MVI ticket nice to have
- Class 1 driver’s licence
