Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the Dental Instrument Sterilization position. This role is essential in ensuring that all dental instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use in a clinical setting. Training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and dental staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments following established protocols.
- Operate sterilization equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare instruments for various dental procedures, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies and instruments.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with dental team members to support efficient workflow.
Skills
- Familiarity with dental software is a plus but NOT required
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting is beneficial.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
