Business Analyst - Senior (Salesforce)
On behalf of our client in the public sector, Procom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst - Senior (Salesforce). This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, testing, and technical solution design, with a focus on facilitating JAD sessions and using DevOps tools to capture requirements. Business Analyst - Senior (Salesforce) Job Details
- Provides a comprehensive range of I⁢ business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
- Interacts with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
- Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
- Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing.
- Develops test plans, test scripts, and test cases, and executes these against various components.
- Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing.
Business Analyst - Senior (Salesforce) Mandatory Skills
- Demonstrated experience in creating Business Requirements Document, other business requirements artifacts, and testing documentation.
- Experience with business clients, supporting user acceptance testing, and participating in UAT activities.
- Experience in executing functional tests, nonfunctional tests, and systems-level integration tests.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of DevOps tools.
- Experience in producing quality analysis of data sets and outputs such as detailed data maps, data dictionary, business rules, mapping rules, functional specifications, interface specifications, conceptual/logical data models, use cases, test cases, etc.
- Experience with technical solution design and prototyping tools to facilitate JAD and design sessions.
- Experience using DevOps to capture requirements as Epics, Features, and User Stories.
- Experience with Salesforce Software, ideally Public Sector Foundations.
- Experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on functional design issues and detailed solution design sessions.
Business Analyst - Senior (Salesforce) Desired Skills
- Experience in the use of information retrieval packages.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
- Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions.
- Experience with a wide range of methods, tools, and techniques for business analysis such as business functional modeling, business event modeling,
business process mapping.
- Experience in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies for user requirements.
- Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment.
- Experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf Applications (COTS).
- Experience planning and organizing testing efforts for both large and small systems.
