Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director of Strategic Partnerships for our Cross Border team based in Toronto, Canada. You will be responsible for key relationship management and overall profit and loss (P&L;) for the financial institutions client vertical. You will also mentor and upskill key members of the FI account management team. This role is essential in driving growth and expanding our footprint in the financial sector. Role And Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you must be a keen hunter who can do the following:
- Support Global Sales efforts to FIs outside North America by building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships through proactive and ongoing client relationship management with key financial institution clients.
- Responsible for growth in Canadian FIs. Direct sales to Canadian FIs, NBFI as well CU central.
- Support US core upsell to assigned existing clients: Responsible for retaining, growing and upselling additional solutions to a selected existing clients' book.
- Cross-sell to existing clients:
Drive revenue growth by ensuring that existing clients have access to our full suite of offerings and understand our vast cross border payment capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to FI clients: Extend professional service to FI clients by providing full end to end workflow support, subject matter expertise in cross border payments and exception handling, and all aspects of service delivery for a demanding client base with SLA’s. managing internal obstacles invisibly to the client.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders including Product, IT, Presales, Operations, and compliance teams to provide seamless support and fully leverage the capabilities of the organization to drive growth and customer satisfaction across all platforms.
- New Business: Collaboration with the FI sales team to flawlessly onboard new financial institution customers.
Establish top level relationships with clients and prospects in order to retain and grow new business.
- Provide general support to FI leadership team as needed.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field experience
- Proven track record of success in a leadership / mentorship roles within the financial services industry.
- Extensive experience in relationship management and business development.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L; effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Integrity, Organization skills, professional communication skills.

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure.

The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $90,000-120,000 + commissions.
