Your job, as Flu Technical Associate within our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team, will be to provide technical direction and guidance to individuals associated with execution of process validation activities, but also to foster collaboration and facilitate strong and continuous connection with scientific, technical, analytical, regulatory and quality functions to achieve project objectives and also ensure full alignment of linked project strategies, plans and timelines with Flu B200/FFIP project phasing and requirements.

Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Flu B200 and FFIP MSAT work stream leads to develop project execution plans for process development and validation, which includes synchronization and phasing of activities to optimize deployment of resources, utilization of materials and product, and prioritization of analytical testing.
- Support industrial implementation and optimization (including characterization and comparability) of the manufacturing processes.
- Author documentation (protocols, reports, root cause analysis and risk assessments, raw data analysis).
- Execute product-dependent process validation runs, including Engineering, Development and PPQ study runs.
- Monitor process validation prerequisites through engineering, development and PPQ phases of the project to identify and escalate risks to successful execution to the process validation execution plan.
- Support execution phases of the project (validation, start-up, ramp-up) in coordination with Operations, Engineering and Quality.
- Work within the framework of the MSAT and Technology Transfer Teams (i.e.: respecting schedule, phase gates, decision processes, design review deadlines, team culture, communication, documents, etc.), with professionalism and transparency,
and delivering in a timely manner in accordance with the design and execution schedule requirements.
About you
Experience:
- Hands on Flu experience (or previous experience in Virology) would be a great asset.
- Experience within the life sciences/biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
Soft and technical skills:
- Skills in project management, troubleshooting and risk management would be a plus.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate clear and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to influence and communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders from multiple levels of management.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent in Bioprocess or Chemical Engineering, Virology & Microbiology.
Languages:
- Proficient in English (oral and written).
