Location: Hamilton, hybrid (2 days in office)
Project Description: There are 8 divisions in Public Works, and currently, 3 divisions (Fleet, Facilities, and Environmental Services) need to go through the requirements elicitation process to consolidate 11 systems into one (EAM).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business processes and system requirements.
- Provide ongoing application support, recommend improvements, and support change management to enhance efficiency and align with operational goals.
- Generate and analyze reports related to financials, work orders, cost summaries, and fuel billings using tools like Crystal Reports, SQL, Python,
and Power BI to support decision-making.
- Ensure business processes and applications run efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation related to business processes and user guides.
- Act as a liaison between business units and development teams to ensure effective translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in testing processes to validate that solutions meet requirements and support user acceptance testing.
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst
- Experience with a Fleet Management System
- Strong understanding of enterprise asset management (EAM) systems and their integration
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with public works operations
