Position : Maintenance Coordinator - Days
Location : Vaughan, ON
Salary : $25 - $27 per hour (depending on experience)
Industry : Manufacturing / HVAC / Maintenance
Employment Term : Fulltime / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM)
activities and repairs to ensure continuous operation of machinery and equipment.
- Manage maintenance requests and prioritize breakdown repairs to minimize production interruptions.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system issues.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Performs all other duties.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
- 2 years related maintenance experience in a maintenance coordination.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical industrial spare parts is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment, including experience with preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with using and maintaining a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities is required.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
