What You'll Be Doing
Senior Manager in Technology Operations at CIBC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our technology infrastructure and operations. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure the reliability, efficiency,





and security of our technology services, aligning with CIBC's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
Technology Operations: responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Technology organization, focusing on an integrated approach to operations, service delivery, planning and the processes supporting CIBC. TO is also responsible for enterprise services such as email, Telecom, Disaster Recovery, Network Servers, Availability, Change Management and partnership with providers.
In conjunction with other members of the Solution Design team, the purpose of this position is to work with key Business & Technology Partners to deliver infrastructure design and implementation for Technology Operations (TO) and Application Development (AD) projects.
These designs include platform selection and sizing, data management design, Disaster Recovery solutions, high availability design, migration approach and other Infrastructure requirements.
Additionally,





the job entails working in partnership with various architecture groups, Platform Managers, Information Security and Risk management, and Engineering teams to design Infrastructure solutions that meet CIBC standards. The review and approval of fully costed infrastructure solutions in support of business requirements as well as providing consultation as it relates to application integration - cloud and on-premise.

How You'll Succeed
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technology professionals, including but not limited to:
- Solution Designers:





Responsible for the design and implementation of technology infrastructure.
- Flow Managers: Responsible for creating the consciousness that the service team is delivering a service to identified customers.
- Resource Allocation : Allocate resources effectively to support optimal delivery of infrastructure solution designs.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for technology operations to support business objectives.
- Performance Management: Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
- Infrastructure Design Oversight: Manage the day-to-day review and approval of designs for CIBC's technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.
Who You Are






- You demonstrate 5-10 years of experience: Demonstrate experience in all areas of infrastructure, with a minimum of five years of related experience and a University degree, including: Cloud (Azure preferred), Windows, UNIX - Solaris, RedHat Linux, Database, Systems Management, Security, Network, Hardware, Storage, System utilities, application platforms such as J2EE and .NET, BI products such as Cognos, SAS, and Informatica. People management including hiring and performance reviews.
