Senior Accounting Clerk

Steele Auto Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Clerk to support our Bridgewater Locations!

As a Senior Accounting Clerk with Steele Auto Group, you will assist the Controller with the dealerships financial plans, accounting practices, and financial reporting. If you are an experienced accounting professional looking for an opportunity for growth and development, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

Annual Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience

Location: This role has the potential to be hybrid (onsite at our Bridgewater locations and work from home) following a successful probationary and training period.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Interdepartmental relations,





transaction posting & reconciliations.
- Inventory management and quality control.
- Assisting the Controller and Accounting staff with various accounting duties.
- Post and report vehicle deals.
- Accounts receivable and payable.
- Assistance with payroll processing.
- Other duties to assist the Controller as required.

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in accounting.
- 4+ years experience in an accounting role.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of computerized accounting systems is considered an asset.
