As the company embarks on its next phase of growth, Vista is seeking a forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, optimizing capital structures, and navigating the complexities of both organic and acquisition-driven expansion. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful transformation and to help Vista solidify its position as a key player in the rental and leasing space.
Summary of the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of Vista Services' leadership team, responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy through a dynamic period of growth and transformation.
As CFO, you will oversee all financial operations, including planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring alignment with Vista’s ambitious objectives to double revenue and expand into new markets across Canada. You will lead the development and implementation of financial processes, ensuring systems are in place to optimize resource allocation, streamline operations,
and meet both internal and external reporting requirements. Additionally, you will manage relationships with existing lenders and play a crucial role in securing new financing as Vista navigates expansion and potential acquisitions.
A key focus will be on capital management, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively to support both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. You will be tasked with developing financial forecasts, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring the company's financial health is sustained. In this role, you will also drive financial transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and process automation, to support the company’s scaling efforts.
As a strategic partner to the CEO,
you will work closely with senior management and the Board, providing key insights and recommendations to support long-term value creation and ensuring that Vista's financial strategies align with its vision for sustained growth.

You are an experienced financial leader with a proven track record in managing complex financial operations across a variety of industries. You have an ability to quickly grasp new concepts, office cultures, and systems that enable you to adapt seamlessly in dynamic environments. You thrive in high-growth settings and are ready to take on the challenges within driving financial strategy.
With a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, you bring significant experience in both financial planning and transformation,
with a deep understanding of ASPE and IFRS standards. Your expertise in M&A;, managing key lender relationships, and optimizing capital structures will be essential as Vista navigates both organic growth and acquisition opportunities. Experience working in private equity-backed or public companies has honed your skills in managing complex financial landscapes, making you well-equipped to help make strategic decisions.
Your leadership experience includes building and managing high-performing teams, and you excel at presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders, including board members and institutional partners. You have hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI,
and can leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making. Your ability to analyze complex issues, diagnose multi-dimensional problems, and recommend effective solutions is one of your key strengths.
