Job Summary
We are seeking a Fun loving, motivated, energetic individual to join the team working with our accounting team as well as providing reception for our customers daily from 3-6 Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls (after 3pm daily) and direct to appropriate department and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Front line contact for accounts receivable customer queries and payments.
- Correspond with accounts receivable customers regarding discrepancies and overdue payments.
- Verify and post details about business transactions, such as funds received, disbursed and total accounts to ledgers and databases.
- Review and balance customer AR accounts and related internal accounts & analyze variances.
- Periodic assistance to accounts payable to match, batch and code vendor invoices.
- Ordering of all supplies.
- Filing.
Qualifications
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Natural proficiency with math.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with office applications and aptitude for learning new systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized desk area.
- Able to perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced finance department while adhering to established standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
