McMan is currently seeking a Program Supervisor for our Hope Heights Program, dedicated to supporting individuals who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness. Hope Heights will offer permanent supportive housing for young adults, young parents and seniors in partnership with Highbanks Society.

The Program Supervisor role is a multifaceted one; responsible for both building and program supervision. In collaboration with the Program Manager, you will organize and coordinate all aspects of a this new McMan program. We are predicting program growth that may require this role to have people responsibilities including hiring, training, and supporting new staff.





The Supervisor will be responsible for liaising with community partners, coordinating programming, managing program finances and budget oversight, and ensuring the timely completion of required reporting. You will also be responsible for maintaining and advancing program goals and objectives, contributing to achieving positive outcomes for the individuals served.

Building management responsibilities include coordinating referrals for vacant units, manage the partnership with Highbanks Society, oversee tenant leases, rent collection and reconciliation, and coordinate building maintenance requests. This position operates within a client-centered, strength-based approach, with a strong commitment to Natural Supports and Trauma-Informed Practices.







Some of the key responsibilities of this role are to:

· Develop partnerships with external stakeholders and service providers to strengthen supports and capacity for the Hope Heights residents

· Support tenants with managing crisis support between tenants and for themselves

· Foster positive relationships with the neighbours and the Crescent Heights Community

· Maintain positive relationship with Highbanks Society Program Supervisor

· Maintain positive relationships with the HomeSpace Housing Liaison reporting incidents, maintenance requests and strategizing on neighbor engagement

· Manage lease agreements. Address resident inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly

· Oversee the lease enforcement process by approving prospective resident applications, renewal leases, conduct monthly property inspections,





follow proper notice requirements, evict residents, and collect late fees and other charges as allowable and stated in the terms of the lease

· Respond and coordinate maintenance requests and repairs through our partner, HomeSpace

· Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act in all procedures

· Compile necessary data and information to support program requirements

· Complete financial data entry of client rent and damage deposits

· Coordinate with both external and internal program staff who will be providing services programming on-site

· Provide supervision and coaching to staff as the program expands.

The successful candidate:

· A degree or diploma in Human Services

· Previous experience in managing or supervising a leased building is ideal







· At least three (3) years’ experience working with vulnerable populations

· People supervision experience is an asset

· Strong writing, organizational, program planning, computer software and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrated interest and knowledge of the Homeless Serving System of Care

· Current standard First Aid Certification and Suicide Intervention Training

· Valid Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage

· The successful candidate must also have a Child Welfare Intervention Check and Police Check (current within 6 months).
