Job Overview
A Dental Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in the daily operations of a dental practice, serving as the first point of contact for patients and managing various administrative tasks to ensure a smooth workflow. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinating patient appointments to optimize the dentist's time and minimize wait times.
- Insurance Verification:
Checking patients' insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments.
- Patient Communication: Sending reminders for upcoming appointments, follow-ups, and educational materials.
- Financial Management: Handling billing, payments, and payment plans; managing accounts receivable.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the practice adheres to healthcare regulations, including patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 – 31.25 per week

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
