Under the direction of the Senior Financial Analyst, the Corporate Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance team with general accounting, auditing, and continuous process improvements.
What You Will Do
- Performs tasks to ensure financial functions are reconciled monthly, including accounts receivables, unearned revenue, prepaid expenses, accounts payable,
accrued liabilities, long- term debt, capital lease, partners equity etc.
- Performs professional complex accounting work in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis reports for internal stakeholders.
- Supports special projects and various accounting duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
- 3-5 year’s experience with full cycle accounting & financial analysis.
- Experience with Workday (ATS) is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience using Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
