Job Description
Our client is seeking an Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for processing and booking vendor invoices, maintaining internal controls around accounts payable, inventory, and fixed assets, and assisting with year-end financial tasks and finance administration.
Key duties include:
· Monitor company expenditures, particularly fixed assets
· Verify and process expense reports
· Process vendor and service provider payments
· Handle tax filing and payments
· Prepare financial reports related to inventory, fixed assets, and accounts payable (AP)
· Perform inventory counts and reconciliation
· Deposit cheques and manage bank deposits
· Review and manage vendor and service provider agreements
· Negotiate with vendors for discounts and favorable terms
· Reconcile vendor statements and payment records
· Ensure payment credits are applied correctly
· Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments
· Streamline the payment process to enhance efficiency
Provide general finance administrative support

Skills and Requirements
· Bachelors degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Accounting
· At least 3 years of industry experience, including general accounting (AP, fixed assets, inventory)
· Minimum 1 year of experience using Quick
Books
· Strong understanding of internal controls related to AP
· Familiarity with US GAAP and its impact on financial processes, particularly in accounts payable · Experience working in public accounting null
