Position 1: Patrol Nights - Sunday + Monday - Thursday - 0000-1200 / 0000-0800
Position 2: Patrol Afternoon - Tuesday - Friday - 1600 - 0000/ 1200 - 0000

Site Description:
Bay Adelaide West opened its doors in June 2009. The Bay Adelaide Centre complex encompasses a whole city block and consists of the newly constructed East Tower, 1/2 acre urban plaza. Connected to the PATH (Toronto 27KM underground walkway) with 51 floors and 1,100 underground parking and on-site management and 24/7 building access and security.
- Ensure staff are following the assigned patrol schedule;
- Provide clear and concise communication to security staff;
- Record all information in a detailed and factual manner;
- Follow communication guidelines issued by the client, such as prompt notification of incidents; using correct notification groups and providing information that is detailed and factual;
- Be familiar with all Brookfield Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures;
- Have very strong communication and customer service skills;
- Write detailed, factual, and concise incident reports for all incidents mentioned in Appendix A
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong command of the English language.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment;
- Flexible and adaptable in dealing with a diversity of situations and people;
- Ability to work efficiently under stress;
- Team player.
Prerequisites:
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated x2 doses
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
Please be aware:
The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however,
Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED
Valid Security Licence
